The short version
- We only collect what you choose to send us through our contact or careers forms, or by email.
- We don’t use advertising cookies, and we don’t sell or share your personal information for advertising.
- Analytics only run if you allow them in the cookie settings.
- You can ask us to see, correct or delete your information at any time by emailing hello@brielgio.com.
Who we are
This website is run by Brielgio. We are the controller of the personal information described in this policy, which means we decide how and why it is used. Our company details are at the end of this policy.

What we collect and why
We collect as little as possible. The table explains each type of information, why we use it, the legal basis under the UK GDPR and EU GDPR, and how long we keep it.

We don’t ask for sensitive information, such as health details. Please don’t include it in our forms.
We don’t use your information for automated decision-making or profiling that has legal or similarly significant effects on you.
International transfers
Some of our providers may process information outside the UK and the European Economic Area (EEA), for example in the United States. When that happens, we make sure it is protected by one of these safeguards:
- UK adequacy regulations or an EU adequacy decision, including the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and its UK Extension, where the provider is certified.
- The UK International Data Transfer Agreement or Addendum, or the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
How we protect it
This website runs over an encrypted connection (HTTPS), uses strict security settings and has no database of visitor information. Messages are stored only in our business email and systems, with access limited to the people who need it.
Your rights (UK and EU)
Under the UK GDPR, the Data Protection Act 2018 and the EU GDPR, you have the right to:
- ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you
- ask us to correct information that is wrong or incomplete
- ask us to delete your information
- ask us to limit how we use it, or object to how we use it
- receive your information in a portable format
- withdraw your consent at any time, for example through , without affecting anything done before
To use any of these rights, email hello@brielgio.com. It’s free in most cases. We’ll reply within one month, or tell you if we need up to two more months for a complex request. We may ask you to confirm your identity first.
If you’re unhappy with how we handle your information, please tell us first so we can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk, 0303 123 1113). If you live in the EU, you can complain to your local data protection authority, for example the Data Protection Commission in Ireland.
If you live in the United States
Privacy laws in several US states give residents extra rights. These include the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CCPA), and laws in Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Texas, Oregon and other states. Some of these laws only apply to businesses above certain sizes, but we offer the rights below to all US visitors.
Notice at collection. In the last 12 months we may have collected these categories of personal information:
- Identifiers: name and email address.
- Professional information: company, role, portfolio and LinkedIn links.
- Internet activity: pages viewed and device information, only if you allow analytics.
We collect this from you and, for analytics, from your device. We use it for the purposes and keep it for the periods described above. We don’t collect sensitive personal information and we don’t use personal information to make inferences about you.
No sale or sharing. We don’t sell personal information, share it for cross-context behavioural advertising, or use it for targeted advertising. We don’t knowingly sell or share the information of anyone under 16.
Your rights. You can ask to know what we collect and how we use it, to get a copy, to correct it and to delete it. You can also opt out of any sale, sharing or targeted advertising, although we don’t do these. We won’t treat you differently for using your rights. You can use an authorised agent, and if we decline a request you can appeal by replying to our decision. Email hello@brielgio.com to make a request.
Global Privacy Control. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, we treat it as a choice to switch off analytics on this website.
If you live elsewhere
We apply the same standards to everyone. If you live in a country with its own privacy law, such as Canada (PIPEDA), Australia (Privacy Act 1988), Switzerland (FADP), Brazil (LGPD), South Africa (POPIA), Japan (APPI) or India (Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023), you can use the rights described above and you may also complain to your local privacy regulator.
Children
This website is for businesses and adults. It isn’t intended for children under 16, and we don’t knowingly collect information from children under 13 (or under 16 in the UK and EU). If you think a child has sent us their details, email hello@brielgio.com and we’ll delete them.
Other websites
Our website links to other sites, including our social media profiles. Those sites have their own privacy policies, which we don’t control.
Changes to this policy
We’ll update this policy when our practices or the law change. The date at the top shows when it was last changed. If we make a significant change, we’ll make it clear on this website.
